CERC holds Training of Trainers to teachers, head-teachers and Integrity Club’s leaders in Community Integrity Building.

Towards promoting honesty, integrity and equality in education sector, the Anti-Corruption Research Center was conducted a four days Training of Trainers (ToT) on Community Integrity Building in 2 batches in Uvira. The first batch of the training taken place in Uvira City  from 20-23 December 2017. 60 participants from 10 secondary school including 2 teachers, 1 headteacher and 3 Integrity Club leaders was trained.

The training aimed at enhancing their skills as trainers through specialized techniques and methodologies. The participants will be capable of delivering the engaging, inclusive and accessible  training sessions within their integrity clubs, which are based on the Community Integrity Building approach”. During the training, the future trainers benefited from exercises on pedagogical methods and key topics on integrity building through a series of theoretical and practical exercises.

The second batch will be conducted from 10th january- 14th january 2018 where 60 participants from other 10 secondary schools will be trained in Ruzizi Plain.
