Socio-Economic Reintegration of 45 Unemployed and Underrepresented Youth in Kinshasa

9 youth-led and youth-serving organizations within the Issue-based Collaborative Network have launched an impact project called “Socio-Economic Reintegration of 45 Unemployed and Underrepresented Youth in Kinshasa”.

Funded under the Youth Represent DRC project implemented in Kinshasa by the Centre de Recherche sur l’Anti-Corruption, this Quick Impact Project aims to support ICON participants in the implementation of the ICON Collaborative Action Plan (CAP), including the implementation of advocacy, psychosocial support, entrepreneurship training, and income-generating activities for the socioeconomic reintegration of 45 marginalized and under-represented unemployed youth in Kinshasa.

Youth Represent DRC is part of the activities carried out under USAID’s global Youth Excel: Our Knowledge, Leading Change program, led by IREX. Through Youth Excel, youth-led and youth-serving organizations in Kinshasa collaborate and conduct implementation research, learning how to strengthen the inclusion of underrepresented and marginalized youth in education and workforce development in DRC.
